Instructor Mentoring

Instructor mentoring is most often used for Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) who have never received formal training on how to develop and deliver their expertise and therefore may not be very good at presenting their material.

There are also instructors who have been promoted into the position from the rank and file and need help in getting a firm grip on what they should be doing.

In order to have a training department that delivers consistent and successful courses, our mentoring program influences and provides the direction that both new and experienced SMEs/instructors need to become more triumphant in their careers.

We find that in order have a winning mentoring program, individuals need to complete at least a Basic Instructor Course, or a Train-the-Trainer course within the past year. We prefer it to be through BBG, but it is not mandatory.
