Basic Employee Counseling Techniques or How to Listen to Our Employee Needs

Getting the job done is some bosses and owners only desire and forgetting there are people behind the actions that get the job done. This course is designed to help one listen and hear what their employees are saying. Sometimes their performance is affected by troubles they are having at home, other off the job activities, relationships, other employees, and even you as the supervisor. There comes a time to take the mean ol' boss hat off and put on the concerned friend hat on, even if you are not friends. If something is affecting work production, then work needs to help.

This course is not designed to teach you to be a counselor, but rather how to help where you can and when to know to refer your employee to professionals and actually helping them make the appointments to get there.
